For marketing and content agencies

Get content and campaigns approved without the email chain

Marketing and content agencies deliver a steady stream of work: articles, social posts, ad creative, reports. Every piece needs a review, often from several people on the client side. Clientwharf gives each client a private portal where drafts, feedback, approvals and monthly updates stay together.

The handover problem

Where recurring client work gets stuck

Volume is the challenge. Small delays on each piece add up across a month of deliverables.

  • Review cycles that drag on

A draft goes out, two people reply with conflicting notes, a third forwards it to someone else, and the publishing date passes.

  • No clear record of what was approved

When a campaign goes live, it should be easy to show which version the client signed off and when. In an inbox, it rarely is.

  • Reporting that eats into delivery time

Clients expect regular progress notes. Writing them into separate emails for each contact takes hours every month.

  • Brand assets that are always missing

Logos, product photos, tone-of-voice guides and approvals from legal arrive late or in the wrong format.

How Clientwharf helps

One place for drafts, decisions and progress

Clients sign in with a magic link and see only their own work, presented with your agency's branding on plans that include it.

  • Approvals for every deliverable

Request approval on a draft, a creative file or a content calendar. Clients approve or request changes with a comment, and every decision is recorded.

    About approvals
  • Files with version history

Upload revised drafts as new versions of the same file, so everyone reviews the latest one and earlier rounds stay available.

    File delivery and versions
  • Updates instead of status emails

Post a weekly or monthly update in the project timeline. Contacts are notified by email, instantly or in a daily digest, based on their settings.

    About the updates timeline
  • Requests for assets and input

Ask for brand assets, product details or a legal review as a checklist. Clients reply, attach files and mark items done.

    About requests
  • Your agency's look

Add your logo, brand color and a welcome message to each portal on Freelancer Pro and above. Higher plans remove the Clientwharf footer and support a custom subdomain or domain.

    Branding options
  • Room for the whole team

Invite strategists, writers and designers to the workspace. On Agency and above, only owners and admins can manage clients and client contacts.

In practice

A month of content, organized

An example of a recurring content retainer run through Clientwharf.

  1. Plan the month

Upload the content calendar and request approval. The client approves it or requests changes before anyone starts writing.

  2. Collect what you need

Add requests for product photos, interview slots or subject-matter notes, each with a due date.

  3. Review drafts as versions

Share each draft and request approval. Feedback lands as comments on the approval, and the revised draft becomes the next version.

  4. Report and repeat

At the end of the month, post an update summarizing what was published. Every approval and file from the month stays in the project.

Common questions

Can several people at the client review the same draft?

Yes. Invite as many contacts for a client as you need. Each one signs in with their own email, and the approval record shows who made the decision.

Can clients choose how often they get emails?

Yes. Every user can set each notification type to instant, a daily digest or off, so busy reviewers are not flooded.

Does Clientwharf publish content to social networks or websites?

No. Clientwharf is where work is shared, reviewed and approved. Publishing happens in the tools you already use.
