About Clientwharf
A quiet place to hand over work
A wharf is where goods change hands. Clientwharf is where freelancers and small agencies hand over work to their clients: files, updates, approvals and requests, in one private portal per client.
What Clientwharf is
Clientwharf is software for people who deliver work to their own clients. You create a workspace for your business, add your clients, and each client gets a private portal. Inside it, your team shares files with version history, posts progress updates, asks for approvals and collects what it needs from the client. Clients sign in with a link sent to their email and see only their own projects.
It is meant for freelancers, design studios, web and development agencies, marketing and content agencies, and other small service teams.
A few things Clientwharf deliberately is not:
- It is not a marketplace. There is no public directory, and clients never find or hire anyone through Clientwharf.
- It is not a payment service. Quotes and invoices are documents only, and Clientwharf doesn't process payments.
- It does not replace your design, development or project management tools. It is the client-facing side of your work.
Why it exists
Most client work is handed over through a mix of email attachments, shared drive links, chat messages and calls. Each one works on its own. Together they make it hard to answer simple questions: which file is the latest, who approved it, what is still missing from the client, and where the project stands.
Clientwharf puts those answers in one place for each client. The aim is fewer follow-up emails, clearer sign-off, and a handover that still makes sense when someone looks back months later.
How we build it
Clientwharf is an independent product. We would rather do a few things well and keep them reliable than add features for their own sake.
That shapes how we work:
- We describe only features that exist today. Anything not built yet is listed on the roadmap as planned.
- Prices are public on the pricing page, and every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial with no card.
- Your files and data belong to you. You can export them at any time.
- We keep the product calm: no dark patterns, no fake urgency, and no countdown timers.
You can read more about how we protect your data on the security page and see what has shipped in the changelog.
