Accessibility Statement
Last updated
We want Clientwharf to work for everyone who uses it, including your clients.
1. Our commitment
Goohoost Ltd, trading as Clientwharf, wants everyone to be able to use Clientwharf, including our customers’ clients, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement covers the public website at clientwharf.com, the Clientwharf app, and the client portals our customers share with their clients.
2. Standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. This is a target we design and test against, not a formal certification, and we have not yet had an independent audit.
3. What we do
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
- Every function is usable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text and announced to screen readers.
- Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and status is never shown by color alone.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Menus and dialogs use native browser elements where possible so they work with assistive technology.
- Layouts adapt to small screens and to text zoom up to 200%, and animations respect the “reduce motion” setting.
- Clients sign in to portals with an emailed link, so they do not need to remember a password or solve a puzzle.
- We test key pages and flows with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks.
4. Known limitations
We are not aware of any parts of Clientwharf that fail to meet our target, but some content has limits:
- Generated PDFs. Quotes, invoices and approval records exported as PDF may not be fully tagged for screen readers. The same information is always available as accessible web pages inside the app or portal.
- Customer uploads. Files and images that our customers upload are their responsibility, and may not include text alternatives or accessible formatting.
- Paddle checkout. Payment checkout is provided by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and its accessibility is managed by Paddle.
If you find a problem we have not listed, please tell us.
5. Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of Clientwharf, or need information in a different format, email support@clientwharf.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Please tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use.
We reply within 1–2 business days, and we will work with you to provide the information or complete the task another way while we fix the issue.
6. About this statement
This statement was prepared on based on our own testing. We review it whenever we make significant changes to the website or app.
