Refund Policy

Last updated

We want you to be confident subscribing to Clientwharf. Here is exactly how refunds work.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Refund Policy applies to Clientwharf subscriptions sold by Goohoost Ltd, trading as Clientwharf. Paddle.com is our reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

The free trial costs nothing and needs no payment method, so there is nothing to refund for a trial. You are only charged if you choose to subscribe.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy with Clientwharf, you can get a full refund of the first payment on any plan, monthly or yearly, as long as you ask within 30 days of that payment. No questions asked.

The guarantee applies to the first payment of a new subscription. You do not need to give a reason, although we are grateful for any feedback.

3. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically. If you were charged for a renewal you did not want, you can get a full refund of that renewal charge if you ask within 14 days of the renewal date and the workspace has not been used since the renewal. “Used” means a team member signed in to the workspace or added or changed content after the renewal date.

Outside these cases, we review refund requests individually and may offer a full or partial refund where it is fair to do so, for example if a service problem on our side prevented you from using Clientwharf. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right always applies (see Your statutory rights).

4. How to request a refund

You can use either option:

  1. Through Paddle. Go to paddle.net (opens in a new tab), look up your order using the email address you used at checkout, and choose to request a refund. You can also use the link in your Paddle receipt email.
  2. Through us. Email support@clientwharf.com from the email address on your order or your Clientwharf account, and tell us which workspace or order it is about. We will process the refund through Paddle for you.

We reply to refund emails within 1–2 business days.

5. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method used for the order. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • A refund covers the amount you paid for the refunded charge, including the taxes Paddle collected on it. Paddle sends you a confirmation.
  • Once Paddle has issued the refund, it usually takes a few business days for the money to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. What happens to your workspace

Paid access ends when a refund is issued: the refunded subscription is canceled and your workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted. You and your clients can still sign in and download files, we keep your data for at least 30 days, and you can export it or subscribe again at any time.

7. Cancellation is separate from refunds

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. You can cancel at any time from the billing page in the app (“Manage subscription”) or through paddle.net (opens in a new tab). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your plan stays active until then.

Canceling does not by itself issue a refund for the current period. If you are also eligible for a refund under this policy, request it as described above. You can cancel at any time even if you are not eligible for a refund.

8. Your statutory rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you additional rights, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where a statutory right gives you more than this policy, the statutory right applies.

Under those laws, the withdrawal right for digital services can end once you have started using the service with your agreement. Our 30-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions still applies in that case.

9. Chargebacks

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us at billing@clientwharf.com or request a refund through Paddle before raising a dispute with your bank. Refunds through this policy are usually faster. If a chargeback is filed, access to the workspace may be suspended while it is resolved.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply to payments made after the updated policy is published and do not reduce refund rights for payments made before. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
